Private Scholarships

All private scholarships through Friends Of The Campus share a single application. Begin your application by clicking "Apply Now" above. No essay is required. 

  • New Student Scholarship Application (first-year and transfers)

    • Due: April 1

  • Continuing Student Scholarship Application (for all students who have completed at least 1 semester at UW Platteville / Baraboo - Sauk County in the past)

Mary Ann Durand Music Scholarship

Awarded to a student who is pursuing a major or minor in Music or participates in the Campus Band or Choir. Applicants must submit a written personal statement.
Ahlstrom Scholarship

Open to any current student, preference to those in theater, consideration to those in the arts.
Henke Music Scholarship

Awarded to students enrolled in music courses, min GPA 2.5. Preference to students pursuing music major. Financial need considered.
Kassi Dallmann Scholarship

Arts; Math; Sciences
Awarded with preference to strengths in theater, math and sciences. A personal statement giving an example of a goal you have achieved is required to be submitted with application.
Waddell Scholarship

Available to any student min cumulative GPA=2.5. preference to students whishing to major in nursing, theater, speech.
Ken Grant Memorial Scholarship

Awarded to two second year students who intend to pursue a degree in English. 3.0 GPA

Awarded to a second Semester or second year student who is pursuing a major in a science field (with a first preference for chemistry or biology, second preference for physics and computer science), or Allied Health.
Hill-Dale Veterinary Care Scholarship

Sciences
Awarded to a student with interest in veterinary medicine or animal science.

BaraBoost

For Every Student Who Enrolls

Friends of the Campus automatically provides $2,000 scholarship for all full time students at "Boo-U" during their first academic year.

After their first year, all full-time students receive an additional $1,000 per academic year.

No application is necessary to receive this scholarship.

Save Big Bucks At Boo-U

Boo-U students save $11,000 on average by starting out locally, then transferring to a 4-year campus to finish their degree. Thanks to Friends of the Campus's BaraBoost scholarship, students pay less than $5,000 on average for their first year. What a deal!
