Meet Jack Eberle
Jack Eberle is an ambitious student pursuing an Associate's in Business Administration at Boo U, with plans to continue on for his Bachelor's degree. While his parents didn’t attend college, they always encouraged Jack to pursue higher education. With hard work and determination, Jack is now thriving at Boo U, where scholarships have been key to his success.
The Impact of Scholarships
Jack chose Boo U for its affordability, and scholarships have significantly eased his financial burden. “The scholarships really remove the burden,” he says. With support from FOTC, including the Baraboost and an additional $1,000 scholarship, Jack has been able to focus on his studies and extracurriculars, which has allowed him to grow both academically and personally.
Why Boo U?
Originally, Jack planned to take a gap year, but after his dad suggested staying close to home and attending Boo U, Jack decided to give it a try. “I want to stay all 4 years,” he says, appreciating the welcoming and friendly environment at Boo U. The opportunity to get involved in student government and make an impact on campus made his decision even easier.
Leadership & Campus Life
As the President of Boo U’s Student Government, Jack has led efforts to improve campus life, including setting up a student café to provide a better study space and organizing intramurals to bring students together. He also values the close relationships with professors who have real-world experience, like his economics professor, Mark Ellis. "I’ve loved working with professors with real-world experience," Jack shares.
A Place to Call Home
Jack’s time at Boo U has been marked by both academic growth and personal connections. “This is my place and my home,” he says, reflecting on how the campus has become a true community. His involvement in campus life and friendships have been some of his favorite aspects of his college experience.
A Message to Our Donors
Jack’s journey shows how the support of donors can change a student's life. “When I was younger, I attended College for Kids at Boo U, which helped me think of Boo U as an option,” Jack shares. Thanks to scholarships and the opportunities provided by FOTC, Jack has been able to achieve his potential and make the most of his college experience.
Thank you for supporting students like Jack. Your generosity makes a lasting impact.
